Night Lights
My Night Lights presets for Lightroom Classic is a collection of 7 presets.
I really love using these presets, they just work for everything I do at night. Ive spent a fair bit of time creating them and I wanted to be able to share them with you here. These presets are for night photos only.
My most used presets are Night Dark and Night Rain and Night Blue Hour.
The 7 presets are:
Night Blue Hour: This uses AI in lightroom to pull the sky back down while boosting the contrast and gives warm honey tones in the midtones and cool blue tones outside of that.
Night Dark: My main preset that creates a strong moody look
Night Light: This suits low contrast night scenes
Night Rain: Boosting the contrast heavily, pumping the highlights and introducing a strong cold blue tone to give a sci-fi look.
Night Visions: A warm green and yellow tone that works on most photos and gives a strong atmostphere.
Night Shade: The counter balance to night visions, this cool tone with strong dark orange tones gives a futuristic sci-fi look.
Night Shade +: Built from the Night Shade preset, this takes the tones into the cyan range slightly more but reduces saturation in the mid tones and highlights. The clarity is reduced heavily and strong vignetting applied. It creates a dystopian dark sci-fi look.
When playing with the presets I suggest strongly that you play with temperature and tint sliders and the variations in look can be extreme at night.
Ive really enjoyed developing this preset pack, it is exactly what I use to edit my night street photos and my night time outdoor portraits. So if you like my look then this pack is for you.
This pack is strictly for Lightroom Classic. I hope you will enjoy using it.
